How much does it cost to attend Ascension Lutheran School?
What is the age requirement at Ascension Lutheran School?
A student entering kindergarten at Ascension must turn five years old prior to September 1st of the current school year. For example, kindergartners enrolling for the 2018-2019 school year must turn five years old by August 31st, of that year.
The same requirement exists for 1st grade as well. 1st grade students must turn six year before August 31st of the current school year. The age requirement is eliminated for grades 2 through 8.
Does my child need to take a test in order to enroll at Ascension Lutheran?
All new students, kindergarten through Grade 8, must test prior to acceptance at Ascension Lutheran. Kindergarten applicants will take a developmental test. If the student has already tested with an outside company like Chancy and Bruce Educational Resources, we will accept those official results in place of conducting the developmental screening at Ascension.
For Grades 1 through 8, we will conduct an assessment test prior to acceptance and placement of the student.
Why do I have to provide a School Recommendation Form from our previous school?
Ascension Lutheran School requires the Recommendation Form to be completed and sent to us from their previous school in order to be accurate in our placement of all new students.
