Welcome to Ascension Lutheran Church!

Welcome! We're glad you stopped in to visit our 'home on the web'.

Ascension Lutheran Church exists to declare the praises of Him who has called us out of the darkness of unbelief into the wonderful light of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We grow together in the Word of God while reaching out to others with that same life-giving Word.

But how do we do that? We do that through our worship services on Sunday mornings (8:15 and 11:00 a.m.), Sunday School, our many Bible studies, our day school and preschool where children hear about Jesus daily, our day care program, shepherding groups, music ministries (including vocal, bell, and brass choirs), youth ministry, and fellowship activities.

That's just part of what we do, but the question remains...why do we do all these things? We do them because we desire more than anything that the love of God in Christ Jesus might show in us and through us to those who come and visit and to those who decide that they have found here their church home.
